Traditional Uses & Modern Evidence

Black salt in witchcraft usually refers to a dark ritual salt blend or black-colored protective salt used for boundary work, uncrossing, and banishing. It should not automatically be treated as the culinary mineral kala namak unless explicitly specified. Ritual black salt is a prepared magical material, not a standardized food or medicine.

Magical & Spiritual Practice

Use black salt in contained protection bowls, spell jars, boundary work, release work, banishing, or home-protection arrangements. Do not assume it is culinary salt.
