Open Roads & Prosperity Ritual

Clear the way, then build toward the abundance you want to welcome.

Clear the way, then build toward the abundance you want to welcome. These two workings are connected: first open the road, then build the prosperity bowl.

  • Road opening
  • Forward movement
  • Prosperity beyond money
  • Peace, stability, love, opportunity, and confidence

Work at a comfortable pace; candle burn time varies.

  • Eucalyptus smoke bundle
  • Open Roads candle
  • Courage & Becoming Ritual Oil — optional
  • Prosperity bowl
  • Bay leaves
  • Orange peel
  • Calendula
  • Cinnamon
  • Pink Himalayan Salt
  • Tiger's Eye
  • Citrine
  • Amethyst
  • Pen or marker suitable for bay leaves

Important Context

  • Prosperity Ritual Oil is separate and not required.
  • Prosperity includes peace, stability, love, opportunity, confidence, and enoughness.
  1. Begin by cleansing the working area with the Eucalyptus Open Roads Smoke Bundle if smoke is safe and appropriate in the space. Let the smoke move around the working area, then take a few quiet moments to settle.
  2. Place the Open Roads candle in front of you. If desired, lightly dress the unlit candle with a small amount of Courage & Becoming Ritual Oil, drawing the oil upward while focusing on movement, courage, and becoming.
  3. Sit with the life you are making room for. You do not need every detail figured out. Focus on what you want more of: peace, love, stability, happiness, opportunity, confidence, support, or another quality that matters to you.
  4. Light the candle and say: “I open the road before me. May what is blocked be cleared. May peace, love, stability, happiness, and opportunity find their way to me. May I have the courage to recognize the path ahead and the strength to walk it.”
  5. Allow the flame to burn safely while focusing on forward movement rather than force. The purpose is not to command one exact outcome. It is to create space and welcome what supports the life being built.

Open Roads & Prosperity Ritual

The first working creates symbolic space for movement. The second gives the practitioner a living container for the forms of abundance they want the open road to lead toward.

A contemporary symbolic road-opening and prosperity-bowl practice; correspondences support reflection rather than guaranteeing outcomes.

  • Skip smoke and use a non-burning eucalyptus arrangement when smoke is unsuitable.
  • Write intentions on paper if writing on bay leaves is inaccessible.
  • Never leave burning candles unattended.
  • Use ventilation with smoke.
  • Keep loose botanicals away from flame.
  • Do not ingest ritual botanicals or crystals.
  • What do I want my life to contain more of?
  • What would a supported, steady, full life feel like?

Open Roads & Prosperity Ritual

The Ritual — Continued

  1. Set the prosperity bowl in front of you.
  2. On the bay leaves, write forms of abundance you want to welcome. These may be simple or specific: peace, love, security, joy, confidence, a home of your own, meaningful opportunity, financial stability, belonging, or family stability.
  3. Place the bay leaves in the bowl. Add orange peel for joy, optimism, opportunity, and brighter paths; calendula for confidence, success, warmth, and favorable beginnings; cinnamon for prosperity, momentum, vitality, and success; and Pink Himalayan Salt for peace, harmony, emotional warmth, and loving abundance.
  4. Place Tiger's Eye, Citrine, and Amethyst with or around the bowl. Tiger's Eye supports courage and grounded forward motion, Citrine represents abundance and opportunity, and Amethyst supports peace and clarity.
  5. Hold your hands around the bowl and say: “I open the road to abundance in all areas of my life. May peace, love, stability, happiness, opportunity, and enoughness find their way to me. May my road lead toward a life that feels supported, steady, and full.”
  6. Keep the bowl somewhere visible. Return to it or sit with it whenever you want to renew your intention and reconnect with the life you are building.
