People-Pleasing 2

Exploring where your worth doesn't need permission.

People-pleasing is a pattern of prioritizing other people's approval, comfort, wants, or needs at the expense of one's own well-being, boundaries, or authenticity. Kindness, generosity, and compromise are not inherently people-pleasing. The useful distinction is whether helping is freely chosen or driven primarily by fear of disapproval, conflict, rejection, or guilt.

Explore where your worth doesn't need permission.

I am allowed to take up space, set boundaries, and honor my needs without guilt.
  1. 1

What situations or people make me most likely to say ‘yes’ when I really want to.

  2. 2

What do I fear might happen if I disappoint someone?

  3. 3

Where in my life do I prioritize others' comfort over my own well-being?

  4. 4

How has people pleasing shown up in my relationships, work, or spiritual practice?

  5. 5

What would it look like to honor my own needs while still caring about others?

Caring about others is a beautiful quality, but it should not come at the cost of losing yourself. You can be kind, compassionate, and still choose you. Your needs matter too.
