Overthinking
Daily Journal Prompts for Clarity & Calm
Overthinking can feel like problem-solving while keeping the mind circling the same question without reaching a useful next step. It may involve replaying conversations, rehearsing every outcome, searching for certainty, or delaying a choice until all risk disappears. This worksheet helps you notice the loop, identify what it is trying to prevent, and return attention to the part you can act on now.
Write the looping thought once, then ask whether it needs information, a decision, an action, or acceptance that certainty is unavailable.
I release the need to have all the answers. I trust myself, the process, and the present moment.
